Description

Enjoy your garden later into the evening with the 1500 Watt Floor Standing Carbon Element Patio Heater. It also comes in a sleek silver finish and has an IP34 rating, meaning it is safe for outdoor use.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this patio heater for its sleek, modern look - the silver finish offers a minimalist, contemporary vibe that complements outdoor spaces with clean lines and neutral palettes. It’s versatile enough to suit a variety of settings, from urban balconies to garden terraces, with its understated but functional design. When styling around this heater, consider pairing it with outdoor furniture in metallics or muted tones to keep the look cohesive. Practical tips include positioning it near seating areas for maximum comfort and balancing its height with other outdoor elements, like plants or lanterns, to create a cosy yet stylish haven. It’s a practical addition that doesn’t detract from a polished outdoor aesthetic, making chilly evenings much more inviting.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
