Designed to be a space saver this oak table and chairs set features a handy extension function that allows you to preserve precious space in your home and extend the dining set when you need it most. The butterfly extension fitted at the center of the table effortlessly adds an extra 30cm to the length of the table, which increases the table from a standard 110cm in diameter to 140 x 110cm. The chunky solid oak legs look great on this light oak extending dining table whilst providing a sturdy foundation. This oak dining table comes complete with 6 fully assembled Washington scroll top dining room chairs, upholstered in quality burgundy bonded leather on a solid hardwood frame with braced oak legs. Not only are these chairs strong and sturdy they also provide the ultimate in comfort with their spring and belt seat construction and medium density foam padding. Our oak dining table sets are proudly handmade from solid oak wood. Each piece of timber goes through a lengthy process of seasoning and kiln drying until its ready to be crafted. Made using time-honored techniques the table features an inlaid groove to accommodate expansion in the wood and prevent bowing. The wood is finished using a clear lacquer to maintain the natural oak colour and enhance the appearance of the wood grain as well as providing a protective seal. About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
