Description
The Toe Chair Flat armchair 92x75 cm from 101 Copenhagen is a tribute to the 1970s futuristic design. With its expressive design language, a soft and embracing feel is created. The open form invites free conversation and freedom of movement. The combination of different foams provides superb comfort. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, this armchair is an aesthetic and comfortable gem in any room.
Our Stylist Says
The Toe Chair is a fantastic statement piece that combines comfort with a contemporary aesthetic. I love its rounded, inviting shape and soft Nubuck finish, which adds a touch of understated luxury. It works particularly well in minimalist or Scandi-inspired interiors, where its neutral tone can act as a versatile anchor. For styling, consider pairing it with textured throws or a statement side table to create a cosy reading nook. Its compact size makes it ideal for smaller living rooms or corners, and the flat armrest design adds a relaxed, modern touch to any space.

Nordic Nest isn't just about aesthetics; it's also about ethics. The company stands firm on its corporate social responsibility, emphasising employee well-being, promoting diversity and gender equality, and ensuring that business practices are transparent and ethical.
They're also making strides in environmental efforts, always seeking to reduce their carbon footprint. This focus on sustainability and corporate responsibility isn't just for today, but with an eye on the future, ensuring that both their designs and their business practices stand the test of time.
Bridging Cultures Through Translation
In today's interconnected world, language shouldn't stand in the way. To ensure their customers around the world can easily browse and shop, Nordic Nest partnered with Contentor, a company specialising in translations, to offer their website in multiple languages.
Their online shop, now available in ten languages, shows their commitment to localised content, ensuring that every visitor feels a personal connection.
