Bloom vase small 22.5x24 cm from 101 Copenhagen combines soft, organic forms with a geometric base. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, it is inspired by 1970s floral design and made from ceramic fibre concrete. The hand-glazed surface creates a unique texture and colour variation, while the waterproof lacquer makes the vase perfect for fresh bouquets. The flower-like shapes change appearance depending on light and shadows, adding dynamism to the room.
I love this small Bloom vase for its sculptural form and rich chocolate brown glaze, which adds warmth and depth to a range of interiors. It works particularly well in minimalist and contemporary spaces, where it can be a statement piece or paired with neutral tones for a subtle accent. Practical styling tips include using it to showcase a few understated flowers or branches, or placing it on a shelf or side table where its shape can be appreciated up close. Its size makes it versatile for small to medium arrangements, and the dark hue can anchor more colourful displays or stand out on a light-coloured surface.
