Description

The 10 Pack of Burke Outdoor Solar Festoon Lights are ideal for adding a calm and relaxed ambience to an outdoor area. The stylish yet simplistic design and the black finish allow them to blend and look amazing anywhere. The 10-metre cord means these are suitable for larger spaces. While the 10 festoon light holders are spread out evenly across the wire ensuring that you get an even spread of light across your space. The solar power of these lights means that once fitted these lights work solely off the sun ensuring you don't have any additional electricity costs.

Our Stylist Says

I really like these outdoor festoon lights for their versatility and sleek black finish, which helps them seamlessly blend into both contemporary and rustic exteriors. They work well in a variety of outdoor settings - from garden patios and decks to outdoor dining areas - creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Practical styling tips include hanging them along fences, pergolas, or trees for a pop of charm without overpowering the space. As they are solar-powered, they’re also a great eco-friendly, low-maintenance choice that adds ambient light after dark, making them ideal for relaxed evenings outdoors. Keep the installation simple by attaching them with hooks or clips for a neat, streamlined look.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
