The In Between table SK5 is designed by Sami Kallio for the Danish brand &Tradition. The dining table, which is two meters long, is designed to blend in with its slim silhouette and sleek design, and the table can be combined with any chair of your choice. The tabletop is made of high-quality MDF and oak veneer, while the legs are made of solid oak. The In Between table is a fantastic example of beautiful craftsmanship made from natural materials, and despite its simplicity, it radiates beauty.

I’m a big fan of the In Between table in clear-coated oak for its clean lines and subtle tapering legs - it brings a light, unfussy feel to both dining and working zones. The cured oak finish is hardwearing and easy to wipe down, so it’s as practical as it is pretty.
Styling tip: keep the scheme simple with mixed-style chairs in muted tones or bent-wood seats to echo its mid-century roots. Anchor the table with a natural-fibre runner, a low ceramic vase and a cluster of small potted plants, then add a slim floor lamp at one end to emphasise its elongated silhouette. Works especially well in Scandi, Japandi or contemporary minimalist interiors.
