Description
Jaime Hayon’s Formakami table lamp is a demonstration of East meets West style. A playful tweak of a traditional Asian lantern, it has been given a contemporary update. Hand crafted with ivory rice paper, the shade is complemented by oak veneer fittings and a solid oak wood base.
Our Stylist Says
I love this table lamp for its sculptural quality and minimalist appeal. Its simple, organic form makes it versatile, suitable for both contemporary and Scandi-inspired interiors. It works particularly well on bedside tables, sideboards, or in a reading nook, adding a soft glow and visual interest. When styling, consider pairing it with neutral colour schemes to highlight its shape, or layer it with other textures like wood and textiles for a cosy feel. Practical tip: keep its cord discreet or drape it behind furniture to maintain a clean, uncluttered look. This lamp’s calming presence makes it a practical yet stylish choice for various settings around the home.
