Description

The Drawn chair HM3 from &Tradition was designed in 1956 by the Danish design duo Hvidt & Mølgaard and still holds up today. The chair's seat is handwoven with 100 meters of paper cord, making it a true craftsmanship. This, combined with the geometric shape of the backrest, gives the Drawn chair its characteristic appearance.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Drawn chair in white-oiled oak for its pared-back silhouette and supportive paper-cord seat. It sits naturally in Scandi-inspired and Japandi schemes, but also brings a light touch to more industrial or modern farmhouse dining areas. Pair it with a solid oak or stone-topped table, add a slim linen cushion for extra comfort, and mix in metal-framed shelving to balance its soft timber tones.
