Description

The laid-back, cocoon shape on the Mildford Accent chair is a classic mid-century style that’s full of '70s charm. It’s the perfect statement chair for those drawn to understated style, upholstered in a bonded leather, which has all the durable and luxurious qualities of real leather. Featuring a padded curved outline in tan, finished off with horizontal stitching and a slim black metal base. Bonded Leather has the same richness in colour and softness of real leather whilst being environmentally friendly. Made from a mixture of real leather and leather fibre, Bonded Leather is soft, sustainable and durable.

Our Stylist Says

I love this lounge chair because it’s perfect for adding a touch of modern comfort without overpowering a room. The tan bonded leather gives it a warm, versatile look that works well in both contemporary and mid-century styled interiors. It’s ideal as an accent piece in living rooms or bedrooms, especially if you’re aiming for a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe. Practical styling tips include pairing it with softer textiles like cushions or a throw to soften the leather, or placing it alongside neutral or contrasting colours to make it stand out. Its slim metal base also means it’s space-efficient, making it a great choice for smaller rooms or cosy corners.

About Cult Furniture

Founded in 2010, Cult Furniture's goal was to make designer future accessible to all. They offer an exciting collection of modern, stylish furniture and lighting, and with their focus on trend-led designs, Cult Furniture allows you to make a contemporary, fashion-forward statement in your space.

Origins and Evolution

Back in 2010, Cult's founder was on a mission a spruce-up for his award-winning cocktail bar, Lost Society.

However, he was met with limited furniture options that struck the right balance between trendiness and affordability. That "Aha!" moment came when he realised there's a gap in the UK for designer-look furniture without the hefty price tag.

Since then, Cult has grown significantly, with a team of over 100 professionals, the brand has positioned itself as the ultimate destination for home decor enthusiasts.

Not to mention, their expansive London showroom that promises visitors an immersive experience, made up of themed zones that reflect a distinct style or function.

They also have a mega 140,000 square foot warehouse in Essex, filled to the brim with items awaiting their new homes.

More than Just Furniture

Whilst Cult Furniture's focus is of course about bringing snazzy furniture to our homes, it's the whole experience that really gets people talking. They're not just selling furniture; they're sharing their passion for design.

Not only do they promise some of the market's most competitive prices, but they also excel in speed - offering next-day delivery for all in-stock items.

Planet-friendly, Heart-driven

Sustainability is at the forefront of Cult's operations. Their green efforts aren't just limited to sustainable materials, but also extend to every touchpoint - right from sourcing to packaging.

They prioritise durable and eco-friendly materials like mango wood, oak, beech, and ash - all of which stand the test of time, both in homes and against environmental degradation.

Packaging is another area they shine in, striking a balance between minimising waste and ensuring product protection. After all, a sustainable future is one where both the planet and people thrive.
