Price History

Description

The Goswell Wooden Chair mixes functionality and style for an iconic piece of mid-century furniture. With that recognisable frame featuring classic V-shaped legs stained in walnut to reveal the rich texture of the wood, we love the combination of this with the soft blue velvet seating. Straight from the 50s archives, the Goswell Dining Chair helped shape the mid-century modern movement, and now you can have this iconic piece of furniture in your home. For a rich depth of colour and unique softness, our velvet used in this chair is not only of the highest quality but is made from 100% recycled PET yarns so it is kinder to the environment too.

Our Stylist Says

I love this dining chair for its combination of warm walnut legs and the vibrant Royal Blue velvet, which adds a pop of colour without overpowering a space. It works particularly well in contemporary or mid-century inspired interiors, where the bold hue can serve as a statement piece. The sustainable velvet offers a touch of luxury while being environmentally conscious-perfect for those wanting style and responsibility. For styling tips, consider pairing it with neutral-toned tables to let the chair stand out, or mix and match with other colourful accents for a more eclectic look. It’s equally practical for both everyday dining and more formal settings, thanks to its sturdy wooden frame and comfortable upholstery.

About Cult Furniture

Founded in 2010, Cult Furniture's goal was to make designer future accessible to all. They offer an exciting collection of modern, stylish furniture and lighting, and with their focus on trend-led designs, Cult Furniture allows you to make a contemporary, fashion-forward statement in your space.

Origins and Evolution

Back in 2010, Cult's founder was on a mission a spruce-up for his award-winning cocktail bar, Lost Society.

However, he was met with limited furniture options that struck the right balance between trendiness and affordability. That "Aha!" moment came when he realised there's a gap in the UK for designer-look furniture without the hefty price tag.

Since then, Cult has grown significantly, with a team of over 100 professionals, the brand has positioned itself as the ultimate destination for home decor enthusiasts.

Not to mention, their expansive London showroom that promises visitors an immersive experience, made up of themed zones that reflect a distinct style or function.

They also have a mega 140,000 square foot warehouse in Essex, filled to the brim with items awaiting their new homes.

More than Just Furniture

Whilst Cult Furniture's focus is of course about bringing snazzy furniture to our homes, it's the whole experience that really gets people talking. They're not just selling furniture; they're sharing their passion for design.

Not only do they promise some of the market's most competitive prices, but they also excel in speed - offering next-day delivery for all in-stock items.

Planet-friendly, Heart-driven

Sustainability is at the forefront of Cult's operations. Their green efforts aren't just limited to sustainable materials, but also extend to every touchpoint - right from sourcing to packaging.

They prioritise durable and eco-friendly materials like mango wood, oak, beech, and ash - all of which stand the test of time, both in homes and against environmental degradation.

Packaging is another area they shine in, striking a balance between minimising waste and ensuring product protection. After all, a sustainable future is one where both the planet and people thrive.
