White lamps on Flitch

About a quarter of the lamps on Flitch are white, making it one of the most common colours. You’ll find the widest choice at The Range, Made in Design and Nordic Nest. The range keeps growing: retailers have added 207 new white lamps to Flitch in the last 30 days. More than half of the white lamps are metal. By type, more than half are table lamps, and about a quarter are floor lamps. There are also 1,399 with built-in LED lights. White can help a small room feel bigger, and it's often easier to pair with a colour scheme that changes over time. It’s a good idea to measure your space before you choose: of the white lamps with measurements listed, most are between 35 and 115cm tall.

How much do white lamps cost?

Half of all white lamps on Flitch cost less than £75. That’s a little less than lamps in general, which usually cost around £80. You’ll pay less for those with built-in LED lights: they typically cost £40, about 45% less than the range as a whole. Style matters too, with traditional designs at around £95 against £60 for modern designs. Taller ones cost more: those over 120cm tall come in at around £70, about 40% more than shorter ones at £50. It also pays to shop around: of the retailers with plenty to choose from, BHS.com is usually the cheapest, at around £25, and Andrew Martin the most expensive, at around £600.

What other shoppers are choosing

Beige and grey lamps are also popular with shoppers, if you’re not set on white. Ceramic lamps are popular with shoppers, but there are fewer to choose from than most other materials.

Is now a good time to buy white lamps?

Right now 402 white lamps are reduced, typically by 17% – and some by up to 76%. About one in ten white lamps are cheaper than they’ve usually been over the last three months.
