Fabric cot mattresses from John Lewis are designed with comfort, support, and safety in mind, providing a restful foundation for your baby’s sleep. A good cot mattress ensures proper spinal alignment and breathability, helping your little one settle into deep, healthy rest. Many are built with features such as waterproof covers, hypoallergenic fillings, or dual-sided firmness to support your child’s development over time. Sizing and fit are especially important in cot mattresses - you want to ensure there are no gaps around the edges, which helps keep your baby secure. Easy-to-clean surfaces and durable designs also make life simpler for parents, reducing stress during inevitable spills or accidents. Whether you’re setting up a nursery for the first time or upgrading for growing needs, a reliable cot mattress is one of the most important investments in early childhood comfort.

The right material for your cot mattresses can transform its presence in any room - and fabric offers a great balance of style and versatility. Fabric is one of the most versatile and widely used upholstery materials in interior design. Available in endless colours, textures, and weaves - from crisp cotton and soft linen to durable synthetics and rich blends - fabric allows for ultimate customisation of both look and feel. Whether you're after a relaxed, casual vibe or something more structured and tailored, there's a fabric to match. It’s especially practical in family homes, offering comfort, breathability, and often easy-care options. Fabric pieces can feel cosy and inviting or sleek and modern depending on the finish, making them a go-to choice for nearly any room or design scheme.
