Description

The Swish TV unit is a modern, slimline design with a gently tapering, enclosed shape. It makes an elegant and classically minimal base for your home media set-up. The smoked glass shelves of the unit offer enough space for a soundbar alongside media boxes while the compact design make it ideal for urban living. Cable management features keep wires hidden from view, while ventilation ensures free air circulation around your tech equipment. Handmade British design Natural wood veneer for uniqueness and beauty Maximum shelf weight: 30kg Shelf depth: 35cm Delivered fully assembled Please note: Any maximum TV size quoted is a recommendation only and the exact dimensions of the TV's pedestal/feet should be checked to ensure it fits prior to purchase.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Swish stand for its clean curves and practical cable‐management cut-outs, which keep tech clutter out of sight while adding a soft, contemporary edge. The light oak finish and black shelving make it a perfect fit for Scandi, minimalist or Japandi interiors, but it also slots neatly into more eclectic or mid-century schemes. To style, strike a balance between function and form: group a low-profile soundbar or console in the centre shelf, then flank each side with a neat stack of coffee-table books or a woven storage box. Top the surface with a single sculptural vase or a small plant to maintain the stand’s streamlined look without overcrowding.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
