I’m a fan of this mango wood chest for its warm, knotty grain and neat footprint - it’s an easy way to introduce texture without overwhelming a space. It suits Scandi-inspired bedrooms, relaxed boho living areas or even a modern farmhouse hallway.
Styling-wise, keep the top simple: a slim tray for keys and loose change if it’s by the door, or a pair of low vases and a small plant in a bedroom. Group it with woven baskets or a linen-covered box on the floor to balance its vertical lines, and use soft, neutral linens inside the drawers to make rummaging quick and tidy.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
