Description

Created in the Habitat design studio, the Oregan 6-10 seater walnut extending dining table is an elegant, contemporary design with feature legs. Crafted in Europe from walnut veneer and walnut stained ash, the table top has subtle curves to elongate the chamfered edges and gives it a stylish twist. This table’s extra leaf is stored underneath the table top for convenience and can easily be taken out to convert the table from a 6 seater to a 10 seater. Complete the look with the Oregan dining chairs which come in a variety of finishes.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Oregan 6-10 Seater Walnut, as its simple yet sturdy design makes it versatile for various interior styles. It works particularly well in both contemporary and Scandi-inspired interiors, thanks to its natural wood finish and clean lines. For styling, consider pairing it with upholstered or wooden chairs to enhance the warm, inviting feel. Practical tips include keeping the decor minimal around it to let the walnut finish take centre stage, and adding a long runner or a statement centrepiece for special occasions. Its extendable feature is ideal for hosting, without compromising on style when not in use.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
