Description

Traditional British meets Native American in this dining chair, hand-made from oak wood. The fluted legs and dream-catcher inspired back are particularly eye-catching. The Washakie Chair would sit happily in any kitchen or dining room but it is also comfortable enough to be a desk chair.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this truffle-velvet dining chair because the softly aged oak frame and woven back detail add subtle texture without overpowering a scheme. It sits well in both relaxed country-house kitchens and more formal, transitional dining rooms, especially when paired with a weathered-wood table or a marble-topped setting. To style it, keep linen or cotton seat cushions in neutral tones for extra comfort, and balance the warm velvet with cool metal accents like pewter candlesticks or a brushed-steel chandelier. Regularly brush the velvet with a soft upholstery tool to maintain its pile and prevent dust settling.
