Description

The Stafford Dining Chair strikes a balance between dining room statement and staple. The original seat design – created by OKA Co-Founder Annabel Astor when she was unable to find the perfect dining chair – proved so popular that we continue to add new colours and styles to the range. Based on the first design is this iteration: a Truffle grey velvet-upholstered dining chair with the same studding and back pull feature and the addition of arms, which offer extra comfort and support for elegant meals. Every element of the chair, from each metal stud hammered into place by hand to the velvet pile and stained legs, will result in the chair having individual character.

Our Stylist Says

I’ve been using the Stafford armchair in truffle velvet to add both warmth and structure to dining schemes. The soft, muted brown sits beautifully against pale walls or alongside a marble-topped table, while those oak legs bring a subtle, natural touch. It works equally well in a contemporary countryside kitchen or as a cosy study chair. For styling, mix two or four around a round table to keep things relaxed, then layer in a neutral linen runner and simple earthenware for a balanced look. If you want a slight contrast, pair it with brass-toned lighting or a textured wool rug beneath.
