Description

Our Stafford Dining Chair in Charcoal velvet was created by Annabel Astor herself, when she was unable to find the perfect upholstered dining chair. Designed with a sleek, narrow silhouette, they allow you to get more of them around the table, but still deliver superior comfort. Other unique features include a border of brass coloured studs and a back pull, adding interest to both aspects of the chair. So comfortable, it could even be used solo as a desk chair. Every element of the chair, from each metal stud hammered into place by hand to the velvet pile and stained legs, will result in the chair having individual character.

Our Stylist Says

I love this chair for its versatile, sophisticated look and plush velvet finish that instantly elevates a dining space. It works equally well in contemporary, classic, or eclectic interiors, adding a pop of richness thanks to its charcoal hue. When styling, consider pairing it with a raw-wood or metallic table to balance the plushness, and add textured accessories like woven placemats or layered tableware for contrast. For a cohesive look, keep the surrounding palette neutral and let the chair be a statement piece, or mix with other velvet accents for a lush, layered effect. Practical tip: velvet can be cosy but requires occasional gentle cleaning to maintain its luxe appearance.
