Description
For twenty-five years, Belgian brand Ethnicraft has paid tribute to the beauty and authenticity of solid wood. Timeless, extremely strong and durable, these are quality pieces of furniture that age wonderfully and are passed down from generation to generation. Handcrafted, Ethnicraft furniture is the result of exceptional know-how. Behind the apparent simplicity of the design hides a constant search for innovation. Respectful of the environment, the wood used comes from sustainably, responsibly managed forests (FSC Co. C certification which attests that the wood was produced with respect for the environment and social values). Entirely made of solid oak, the Mikado table by designer Alain Van Havre quickly became an essential classic. It stands out for its astonishing sculptural base with oblique lines, which is the result of a long search for dynamic balance. Reminiscent of the Mikado game, the four legs intersect, forming a graphic, unstructured assembly offering perfect stability. Mikado's legs provide an astonishing ballet that’s always eye-catching.
