Description

Kitting out your kid's room? We recommend the Jackson Shorty high sleeper. Sturdy and compact, it's a complete bedroom in one tidy footprint. With a built-in wardrobe, shelves and 3 drawers, there's plenty of room to keep clothes and toys tidily tucked away. It's even got a desk for doing homework or getting creative! Finished in white and grey, it's a stylish space to sleep, study and store. Comes with a medium feel Argos Home Kids mattress, a foam free open coil mattress that doesn't need turning. It's soft and supportive for a good night's sleep, and also has a smooth anti-allergy knit cover for peace of mind. A space to be proud of, your kid will love this bed. Ideal for children 6 and over (max weight 100kg) they won't grow out of it quickly! We suggest at least 2 people put it together - it's easy enough to assemble but being solid it is pretty heavy. Our Stylist Says

The Habitat Jackson Shorty Highsleeper is a practical choice for maximise space in a child's bedroom, thanks to its elevated design with built-in storage and a desk area underneath. I love how versatile it is; it works well in both modern and minimalist interiors with clean lines, as well as in more playful, colourful schemes if combined with vibrant accessories. For styling, consider adding cosy textiles and personalised touches like framed art or plants to soften the look and make the space feel inviting. The white and grey finish makes it easy to coordinate with other furniture and accessories, helping to keep the room feeling fresh and uncluttered. This bed is ideal for creating a multi-functional space that grows with your child, while keeping everything neat and organised.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
