Designed by Naoto Fukasawa, the starkly contemporary Demetra Desk Light offers fully adjustable light with its tilting and rotatable arms and modern circular diffuser. Crafted from painted aluminium, the LED light source is subtly integrated into the shade, making a sleek task lighting option for desk spaces, bedside tables or corners in need of a little brightening touch. Naoto Fukasawa aims to create designs that present the essence of their functionality with clean and simple lines, exemplified here by the sleek design of the Demetra Desk Light, manufactured by Artemide. Artemide is an Italian lighting company established in 1960, boasting models that appear in the collections of some of the world's most prestigious museums of art and design including the MoMA in New York and the V & A in London.
